This awesome big print tee features The Tick, a satirical superhero created by Ben Edlund. This shirt was made in the 90s to promote The Tick animated series that debuted on Fox Kids. The Tick was originally conceived as the mascot of the Boston-area chain of comic book stores, New England Comics. He was created when Edlund was only eighteen years old, and the character was designed to be a parody of the typical American superhero.

The cartoon aired for three seasons and featured the voice talents of Cam Clarke, who had played Kaneda in the English adaptation of Akira, and Townsend Coleman, known for voicing Michaelangelo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Another notable member of the show's voice cast was Micky Dolenz of the Monkees. Dolenz played Captain Lemming for the first season of the show, before the role was taken over by the talented Rob Paulsen of Animaniacs fame.

Fits like a modern unisex adult oversized large. There is some discoloration throughout, see pics.
