This awesome tee was earned in 1987 by a finisher at the Honolulu Marathon. The Honolulu Marathon is one of the most popular in the world, particularly for first time marathon runners. Many of the most popular marathons globally have an entry time qualification, meaning runners have to qualify by running another marathon. The Honolulu Marathon, however, has no entry qualifications. This particular run has been very popular with Japanese runners, and since 1985 Japan Air Lines has been a sponsor.
